The location is fantastic for exploring nearby attractions, although the hard mattress and less comfortable sofa bed detracted from the overall experience. It was just a fine choice for a weekend outing in Istanbul and great for the money. The apartment had a decent size, enough for our family to move around comfortably. Bring your own extra toiletries as they can be limited.
